Free Video Drain Inspection ($400 Value)

Every trenchless sewer repair begins with a professional video inspection so we can locate the exact problem before recommending repairs.

Older sewer lines don’t always need replacement. On Amelia Island, mature live oaks and aging underground pipes often allow tree roots to enter small joints long before a complete failure occurs. Our technicians inspect the entire line first to determine whether trenchless repair, sectional repair, or traditional excavation is the safest long-term solution. Ryan and Scott came over to diagnose a faucet leak -they replaced the cartridge to save the faucet when a different company said I needed a new faucet. They were both a pleasure to work with. Customer Service was on point and very fast turnaround time on fixing the faucet.

I contacted Totally Hooked Plumbing & Drains through a Google ad because I needed a company with the ability to run a camera through my drain pipes. My owner’s suite shower wasn’t operating correctly, and I wanted to make sure there weren’t any roots in the line. Scheduling was very easy, everyone I spoke with over the phone was helpful, clear, and professional. Communication was excellent. Collin, the technician, was available earlier than expected, and instead of just showing up, the office called to confirm if that worked for me. That alone was impressive. When Collin arrived, he was friendly and professional. He greeted me by name, shook my hand, and got right to work while still carrying on a pleasant conversation. He asked thoughtful questions to better understand the issue and shared information that I didn’t know, which will even help me in guiding my real estate clients in the future. He went above and beyond by also checking our water filter, which hasn’t worked since we moved in. I really appreciated his honesty and the time he took to walk through everything with us. The estimate was free I just had to pay $69 for the drain cleaning. In today’s world, good customer service can be hard to find, but Collin made me feel like a person, not just another job. I look forward to working with Totally Hooked Plumbing & Drains again in the future, and I’ll be sharing their information with my network.

Our Trenchless Sewer Repair Services in Amelia Island, FL

Choosing the right repair starts with understanding what’s happening underground. Some sewer lines qualify for trenchless repair, while others require excavation because the structural damage is too extensive.

Sewer Camera Inspection & Diagnosis

Every professional sewer repair begins with a comprehensive camera inspection to evaluate the line’s structural condition before our technicians recommend any repairs. The National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) identifies CCTV technology as a critical diagnostic tool for assessing underground sewer infrastructure.

Trenchless Sewer Repair

When the existing pipe is structurally suitable, trenchless sewer repair restores damaged sections with minimal excavation. This approach can preserve driveways, landscaping, and established outdoor spaces while repairing the damaged sewer line.

Emergency Sewer Line Repair

Wastewater backing up into your home should never be ignored. Our inspection identifies whether root intrusion, structural damage, or another sewer issue is responsible before recommending repairs. If your sewer line qualifies for rehabilitation instead of repair, sewer pipe lining may be another effective solution.

Sewer Line Replacement Options

Some sewer lines are too severely collapsed or deteriorated for trenchless repair. We’ll explain when traditional excavation is necessary and why it provides the safest long-term result.

Tree Root Intrusion Solutions

Tree roots are one of the most common causes of sewer line damage on Amelia Island. Removing the roots is only part of the repair—we also identify where they entered the pipe to help prevent future problems.

Here are answers to some of the sewer repair questions Amelia Island homeowners ask most often.

A professional sewer camera inspection provides the answer. If the pipe is structurally sound with localized damage, trenchless repair may be an effective option. Severely collapsed or misaligned pipes often require traditional excavation instead.

Yes, sometimes. If the damage is limited, removing the roots and repairing the affected section may restore the sewer line. Our inspection determines whether repair or replacement is the better long-term solution.

Traditional excavation is necessary when the sewer pipe has extensive structural damage, major collapses, or severe misalignment that trenchless methods cannot safely correct. We’ll explain why excavation is recommended before any work begins.

Recurring slow drains, sewage backups, and frequent drain clogs are common warning signs. Our team uses a sewer camera inspection to locate root intrusion and determine the extent of the damage before recommending repairs.
